Sparrow Hawk Camp

       We offer Floating the river in Canoes, Kayaks, Rafts, and Tubes
   We have the best Campground on the river with about 3/4 of a mile riverfront

Sparrow Hawk Camp is a family campground with lots of things to do.
We have Sand volleyball, horseshoe pits, Swimming, and Fishing, just to name a few. It is a safe place to bring you kids and let them have fun.
We have room for a baseball game or a football game to get started, fly a kite, or just sit back and sun bathe.

I know there is alot of other camps on the Illinois river but come by and give us a try, we are the new owners (Gene and Tamie Ellis)and have worked hard to make sparrow hawk camp a fun and beautiful place to come back to year after year. We have added a stage to host bands and have festivals, and added karaoke. we have friendly staff, new clean bathrooms with lots of hot water, and have added some cabins to rent and will add more later. Sparrow hawk has more riverfront than any other camp on the Illinois river with about 3/4 mile, over 60 RV sites and tons of tent camping.

                            Almost every Friday and Saturday night is Karaoke
                                FUN FUN FUN !!!!!

Keith and Jenny Long are the most fun people to be around , and to have them put on karake is a blast. Both are good singers and will help you or sing along beside you.
Karaoke was added to sparrow Hawk in 2012 and has been alot of fun, we give away prizes, even a free float trip. So come sing with us on karake night from about 8:00pm till 11:30pm
