RIVER LEVEL
2 ½ to 3 feet……Summertime normal. You may have to drag the canoe and paddle a lot.
4 to 5 feet………Perfect floating. High enough so that you won't drag bottom. Low enough so that you can stand up and walk out, if you turn over.
6 feet…………..High enough to be scary if you turn over. Recommend only experienced canoeists go. No young children.
6 ½ feet………...No canoes allowed on the river; rafts only.
9 ½ feet………...No rafts allowed on river.
11 feet…………River is out of its banks.
27.9 feet……….Record high level.
